Caution: The Administrators Guide contains technical information about setting up and configuring Groovix to your specifications. Administrative privileges and passwords are necessary for most configurations and should be handled by an IT professional.

Installing Groovix PAC software

To prepare a workstation for a Groovix installation, please perform the following three steps before choosing from the installation options below.

1. Power on the PC, eject the DVD-ROM tray and insert the DVD labeled “Groovix Public Access Computing Install DVD”

2. Depending on the model PC, press the proper function key to get the boot menu (this information is commonly listed in the bottom corner of the screen)

3. Once the boot menu has loaded, choose the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM as your boot device and press the [Enter] key, the Groovix splash screen will pop up and a list of options on installing Groovix will be shown

If unsure whether a workstation uses a static or dynamic IP address, please contact a system administrator before continuing; Groovix may not be immediately available as a result.
